Dear Friends and Partners,
I want to personally thank you for your sacrificial financial support to Stir the Fire Ministries in Zambia. We are honored you would bless us with your generosity. Support like yours makes a big difference in the work our ministry is doing in our communities of Ndola, Zambia. Without givers like you, our ministry can’t have an impact or influence in our communities. Together, we are making a difference. We would like to thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and gifts in support of our ministry. Your kindness allows us to continue and expand our good work in Zambia.
Currently Stir the Fire is involved in many and different programs like:
- Church planting
- Running orphan schools
- Feeding programs
- Bible school
- Gardening
- and more!
We have a mandate to fulfill these before Christ comes back. With the support of our friends and partners, we are moving and we are seeing results. We stared very small but we keep growing each year!
FEEDING PROGRAM. As we continue feeding more than 500 children, it’s becoming very expensive buying everything to feed children. The economy has gone down and only rich people enjoy the availability of food. Imagine, without Stir the Fire feeding program, where would these children be? In the streets of course! We are privileged to save children through the support of our friends and partners who give sacrificially. Your care for others is the measure of your greatness. But Jesus knew their thoughts, so He stood a little child besides Him and said to them, “ Anyone who takes care of a little child like this is caring for me! And whoever cares for me is caring for God who sent me.” John 9:47, 48.
COMMUNITY SCHOOL. God is so merciful to His people despite whatever challenges we may go through this season of Coronavirus. The school has more than 500 children with eight teachers, starting from Reception to the sixth grade this year; next year we will have the seventh grade. With the the support of our able partners we have built a nice school that has reached the government standard. We want to thank our generous supporters for making this program to be what it is now. I remember what it was like to teach before children received the meals; children were not coming to school, and when they did come to school, they were not concentrating in class. They were so hungry and that made teaching them difficult.
FARM LAND (GARDEN). Stir the Fire Zambia is working so hard growing cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, onions, etc. to supplement what we are able to buy with the funds donated to feed children. God has blessed us with two strong and skilled gardeners who are doing a great job to ensure we have vegetables throughout seasons.
CHURCHES. Stir the Fire currently has eight churches in Zambia with about 10 pastors helping to run these churches. All churches are running and growing well despite many challenges.
WIDOWS. As if that is not enough, the ministry has identified 13 vulnerable widows in the community whom we have supported for many years now. The ministry has become their guardian by providing them with financial assistance each month.
FINALLY. Donating to the ministry monthly allows us to preach the gospel, raise children in a godly way, and help those in need. We are answering the cry of the needy, and it’s all thanks to our supporters like you. We can’t pull these projects off without your support. Whether you give to this ministry on a regular basis, or just on occasion, we are asking you to consider contributing to this massive undertaking prayerfully. Your support will make a huge difference to the lives of these children.
Kindly consider choosing any of the following categories as you you pray:
- Feeding program
- Teachers salaries
- Garden and gardeners
- Widows

Many thanks and God bless,
John
