My goals for this visit were somewhat different than those of past Ndola visits I have been blessed to be a part of.
One of my main goals was just being able to follow through in doing what I felt God was leading me to do and who to love on and listen to those who He put in my path. I had some preset notions on what that might look like, but of course, was surprised as always on just what God made those blessings actually look
like.
There were many.
And I absolutely grew. In my faith. In my walk with the Lord. In my belief for listening and looking outside the box. In the knowledge that with Him, all things really are possible.
I absolutely grew.
I wanted to learn more about the Zambian culture and what it is like to actually live there and what it takes for the locals to survive there. And how the people that are not only surviving, but thriving, are doing that. And what kinds of things could be done to help the people that I have met and call friends to be able to
shift to the thriving side.
I experienced some great, blessed, though somewhat stark, lessons on the daily ins and outs of Ndola life.
Alas, the blessings and lessons of the entire trip were plentiful and I will forever be thankful for making the decision to listen and follow where God was leading. He absolutely went before me and made a way for this time to be just what it needed to be. For me and for all the hearts and lives we were able to touch. ♡
