As you may already know, the beginning of this school started twenty-five years ago when John and Judith had the heart to bring a few children living on the streets into their home. The Lord led them to have a huge vision for the children in their surrounding area. John and Judith wanted to be able to educate children, while also giving them one meal a day and sharing the Gospel with them. Twenty-five years ago, John’s vision seemed next to impossible to reach. But, look where it’s at now! 500 children are being educated, fed, and filled with Biblical truth each day. We want to bring this up because, through lots of thought and prayer, John has recently expressed to our team his vision for the future of Stir The Fire Ministries School. It is not set in stone, however, John and Judith are feeling called to DOUBLE the number of children attending the school. While that would be amazing, that also means doubling the classrooms, doubling the teachers, doubling the amount of food, and much more. We know that if God has allowed us to get to the point we are now, then He can surely do it again if it is His will. We would like to ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry prayerfully and/or financially, as this ministry completely runs on the funds of their supporters. We are so grateful for the faithful supporters who are already standing with us. However, John and Judith’s vision for the future of the school is bigger than what our current support can sustain. To reach twice as many students in need of the love and care John and Judith are ready to give, we need to double the number of supporters.
Yes, this is a bold goal—but we’ve seen firsthand how this ministry has flourished. We’ve watched it remain Christ-centered, blessing not only the children but also their teachers. And if together we have the opportunity to help change lives for eternity, why wouldn’t we step forward in faith?
